News & Announcements

October is Peanut Butter & Pet Food Collection Month!

All month long we are collecting pet food and peanut butter for the Second Harvest Pet Food Drive! All donations will go straight to Second Harvest Pet Food Bank.

Charlotte CROP Walk Coming this November!

CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk events held in cities and towns across the United States, raising funds to support the global mission of Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster.

Join the walk at the new American Legion Memorial Stadium, or support the cause by walking in your own neighborhood. 25% of funds raised will be directed locally to Loaves & Fishes, Second Harvest Food Bank and Crisis Assistance right here in Charlotte.

If you are active on Facebook, go to your CROP Hunger Walk page and kickstart your fundraising by starting a Facebook Fundraiser. Personally invite your family and friends to join you.

Changing the world will put a smile on your face - make sure to have fun!

Attic Sale Donations

Thank you so much to all who contributed to our Attic Sale this year!

Attic Sale donations of craft supplies, office & school supplies, musical instruments and games were appreciated by Montclaire Elementary School!

Thank you again for your generous contributions!

  • Quick reminder: Fall is the time to please reconnect your Harris Teeter VIC card to #1729. This helps support funding our partner in education: Montclaire Elementary.

We are partnering with the Mecklenburg County Fire Fighters to raise money for the Firefighters' Burned Children's Fund. The FFBCF collects aluminum cans to raise funds for the support, education and recovery of burn survivors and their families and the prevention of burn injuries.

We are collecting recyclable cans in the red trailer in our church's parking lot!

Please donate as many cans as possible so that we can help families in need.

Please do not drop any glass bottles, boxes, or paper into the recycling trailer.
