New Book Study- Seeker’s Class

Our new book study will focus on EVERYBODY ALWAYS: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People, by Bob Goff.

JOIN THE BOOK STUDY
Please reach out to Ed at edgagnon@mindspring.com if you are interested in in attending the Seeker’s Sunday Class. Ed will send you a link on the Saturday before class if you express an interest in attending class (this class is held digitally via Dialpad.)
If you have time, please also read the intro page, the page of contents, and prologue. Please come with one idea of what you would like to accomplish in this book study.

ABOUT THE BOOK
"What if we stopped avoiding the difficult people in our lives and committed to simply loving everybody? What happens when we give away love like we're made of it? In Everybody, Always, Bob Goff's joyful New York Times bestselling follow-up to Love Does, you'll discover the secret to living without fear, constraint, or worry.

Bob teaches us that the path toward the outsized, unfettered, liberated existence we all long for is found in one simple truth: love people, even the difficult ones, without distinction and without limits."

Documentary Viewing Begins Sept 24th

The Christian Education Committee would like to invite you to participate in our study. The subject of this study is the rise of antisemitism in the US and for the purpose of this study we will view the documentary “The US and the Holocaust” by Ken Burns. We will meet for three Sundays after church in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30. After each viewing, we will have time for discussion. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch. We are hoping that a local Rabbi will come and join us for a special potluck and discussion this October.

The dates for the viewings are September 24th, October 1st, and October 8th.

If you have any questions please contact Kevin Baker-Rooks at: revkevdoc@gmail.com

We want to hear from you!

We would love to hear from you about your experience with SPCC!

The SPCC Church Growth team is seeking as many church members as possible to share written testimonials, to be shared here on our church website. These testimonials will be an amazing resource for those wanting to learn more about the people and the mission here at SPCC.

Feel free to tell us about how you found SPCC, some your favorite activities that you've participated in with us, how SPCC has influenced your sense of community and fellowship here in Charlotte, or anything else you'd like to share!
